I apologize that this post is a little later than intended but, as promised, here is a tutorial for sewing your own wipes. In it I use flannel, but you can use whatever fabric you like best. Just make sure that it's absorbent. I do suggest a minimum of 20 wipes, to start out.
1) Pre-wash your fabric, iron it and cut it into 9 by 9 inch squares.
2) Sew the two squares together, wrong sides together, with a 1/2 inch seam. Be sure to leave a small place to turn the wipe.
3) Trim the seam allowance to 1/4 inch and clip the corners.
4) Turn the wipes to the right side, gently push out the corners, iron and topstitch them 1/4 inch from the edge. Topstitching will close the opening used for turning.
